More Russell

What more of Russell are you interested in reading? I'll pick out some biographical / overview information to start with (which I'll scan and email to everyone).

  1. There are a lot of interesting essays, with responses by Russell, in Schlipp's volume on Russell in the Library of Living Philosophers.

  2. My strongest recommendation is for the essay, What numbers could not be, by Paul Benacerraf. This is found in the book, Philosophy of Mathematics, Selected Readings, edited by Benacerraf and Putnam (I mistakenly told Dr. Cate that the essay was by Putnam). I can make copies if anyone is interested.
